16.3h Bay Mare 2016

Coronet d’Honneur x All The Gold x Woda

“Gia” is a big, beautiful mare by the Comme Il Fault stallion Coronet d’ Honneur. Her dam line is one of regular working hunter royalty. Her grandmother is none other than the charismatic Bavaria (Chronicle of the horse article below). Gia’s mother Brescia was also extremally successful in the confirmation and working hunters.

Throwback Thursday: When The Big, Beautiful Bavaria Swaggered Into The Washington International Grand Championship

Gia is a powerful mare with a good trot and exceptional canter. She jumps with her knees to her eyeballs every time. With her massive stride she can easily “walk” down the lines in the hunter divisions while maintaining a tremendous amount a power, enough for the bigger tracks (140cm+). She is a pleasure to be around and her willingness and intelligence comes through in everything she does.

Gia goes nicely on the flat, hacks out in the woods, rides on the beach and is jumping small courses. She has successfully jumped around the .80m at a couple schooling shows when we first got her and is ready to begin a bit of more serious competition. Gia is still a bit green for her age and it best suited for a rider who is looking is to bring along a performance prospect. She is very forgiving and would suite a well riding amateur in a program.

Escapade x Once A Sailer xx

“Evie” is a beautiful and friendly young mare. We truly can not say enough good things about her character and way of going. Her sire Escapade (Escudo I x Graf Grannus) needs very little introduction; being a famous producer of beautiful, rideable, foals with amateur friendly temperaments that perform exceptionally well in the hunter arena.

Evie has just started her under saddle career this fall. Throughout the entire process she has not set a foot wrong. She loves working and will meet you at the gate with a whinny every single time. Evie has exceptional gaits. They are flashy, well balanced and above all, comfortable! She has a natural lead change and a naturally perfect form over fences. If all this wasn’t enough, Evie also has some serious scope. Looking for a 120cm-130cm prospect? Look no further.

Bliss MF x Rapport x Franat

“Mia” was bred by Kimmy Risser of Hickory Manor Farm now of Kentucky. By the beautiful Balou du Rouet son, Bliss MF and out of the super producing Rapport x Franat mare Oro; Mia was bred with upper level sport in mind.

Mia has three incredibly smooth gaits and jumps a ten every time. She has a big stride and abundant scope. She has a very soft mouth and is forward thinking once she starts to jump. Mia is well schooled on the flat. She knows her basic lateral work and has begun schooling more advanced movements. Although she loves to jump I do believe she could make a dressage horse.

Mia is best suited for a confident , soft rider.

For Pleasure x Rebel III Z x Kronprinz xx

Forever was bred with championships in mind. She is by the double Olympic gold medalist For Pleasure and out of the 1.45m jumping mare Rapsodie; who also produced the 1.50m mare Celina 165 by Calato. Her maternal line continues with several generations of international sport horses throughout.

Forever was imported from Germany as a five year old and competed very successfully in the young horse classes up to 1.30m. Unfortunately, an injury forced a career change to the hunters. With her top character, superb movement and scopey jump it is no surprise that Forever was Overall Reserve Grand Champion in 2014 behind Tori Colvin, and was the Junior Hunter East Coast Overall Champion in 2015.

In 2021, Forever delivered a big, long lined colt by Faustino de Tili.

In 2022, a stunning and strong filly by Candy de Nantuel.

Forever is in foal to Aganix du Seigneur for an April 2022 foal.
